Grandparent's Day Ice Cream Social

We invite grandparents to come have ice cream with the children one Friday in September. Don’t worry if your child doesn’t have grandparents who are able to come, they can invite someone special in their life to attend.

Fall Festival

This is a great chance to meet other families! Activities include a family dinner, crafts, costume contest and pries for children and their families, games in the classrooms, and trunk or treat in the parking lot.

Community Involvement Events

Throughout the year we do several different activities that benefit the people in our community. We collect food for Combat Hunger or Bidwell Riverside Food Pantry in November. We collect new unopened toys for Toys for Tots. Our two-year-old class (Picasso’s) also collect items for a Reverse Advent calendar then donate those items to one of the many shelters in the metro area that are in need.

Lunch with Santa

This is such a fun morning for our preschoolers. They have Reindeer games in our Creative Movement room, a special story time, a bounce house in the gym and some time with Santa! We also have a special lunch where we invite the parents to come have lunch with us down in Fellowship Hall.

Art Auction

This is our once-a-year fund raising event consisting of a live and silent auction of children created art pieces as well as donated pieces of artwork and other items or services from local businesses. The Art Auction is a child free event that is open to the public held each year at Jasper Winery. Child care is provided for currently enrolled children and their siblings at the center by our wonderful teachers. For more information click on the button below.

Celebration of the Arts Night

The Creative Center for Young Children Art Gallery opens once a year for family members to come and see each of our artists showcased in our gym. It truly is a magical sight to see the walls in our gym covered with all our children’s art from the year. We also have a slideshow of photos from the past year so parents and grandparents can take a peek as to what happens on a daily basis while the children are here with us. We also serve egg and nut free cookies and lemonade for people to enjoy while they are looking at the artwork.

Breakfast's with Mom and Dad

The Friday before Mother’s Day we invite either mom, grandma, or that special woman in your child’s life to have breakfast with us. The Friday before Father’s Day we invite either dad, grandpa, or that special man in your child’s life to have breakfast with us.
